BankDhofar signs three strategic real estate agreements at Housing and Construction Expo
BankDhofar has signed three strategic agreements with prominent real estate developers during the Urban Development, Home and Construction Exhibition and Conference 2026, reaffirming its commitment to supporting residential development, facilitating investment and advancing sustainable urban growth across the Sultanate of Oman.
BankDhofar has signed 3 agreements which enable their retail customers to avail housing loans to purchase under development properties in these projects. The agreements underscore the Bank’s growing role as a trusted financial partner to the real estate sector, supporting the development of modern residential communities while helping expand access to housing and property investment opportunities.
The first agreement, valued at OMR 10 million, was signed with Al Ahly Sabbour Developments, a prominent real estate developer, to provide financing for its property development activities and financing for retail customers on housing loans. The arrangement is expected to support the company’s investment plans, facilitate project implementation and create new opportunities for growth in Oman’s expanding real estate market.
BankDhofar also signed an agreement with Adanté Realty, the specialised real estate development arm of Al Adrak Group. The partnership is linked to the developer’s Yenaier Residences project in Sultan Haitham City, one of Oman’s flagship urban developments. The project forms part of the wider vision to create integrated residential neighbourhoods that combine contemporary housing, community amenities and sustainable infrastructure.
The third agreement was concluded with Sarooj Development Company to support Sarooj Oasis, an integrated residential development within Sultan Haitham City. Envisioned as a distinctive destination for modern urban living, the project aims to create an attractive residential environment that combines contemporary design, sustainability and quality of life, contributing to the emergence of Sultan Haitham City as a vibrant and inclusive urban community.
Representing BankDhofar at the signing ceremonies was Ahmed bin Said Al Ibrahim, Chief Retail Banking & Government Business Officer, who highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships in advancing the Bank’s commitment to supporting high-quality real estate developments and contributing to Oman’s broader economic and urban development objectives.
He emphasised that collaboration with established property developers enables BankDhofar to play a meaningful role in bringing promising residential projects to fruition, while strengthening the financing ecosystem underpinning the sector’s long-term growth.
Ahmed Al Ibrahim further reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to delivering innovative, flexible and competitive banking and financing solutions tailored to the evolving requirements of developers, investors and homebuyers. Such solutions, he noted, are instrumental in accelerating project development, expanding housing choices and reinforcing Oman’s attractiveness as a destination for real estate investment.
The three agreements also reflect BankDhofar’s wider commitment to supporting the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 through strategic partnerships that stimulate private-sector investment, encourage sustainable urban development and enhance the availability of quality housing for citizens and residents alike.
