Welcome to "Intilaqa" – Your Gateway to Seamless Banking. Experience the ease and security of modern banking with the "Intilaqa" mobile app. Designed with a user-friendly interface, the app makes opening your account a hassle-free journey. Simply follow the intuitive steps, and you're all set. You can also request to have your debit card delivered straight to your location, anywhere within the Sultanate.

  • For Omanis:
    • Valid Mobile Number
    • Valid Civil ID (for Self and High yield accounts)
    • Employment Proof
    • Valid Civil ID of the Father and Omani Birth Certificate of the child for child accounts (Father must be account holder of BankDhofar)
  • For Non-Omanis:
    • Valid Mobile Number
    • Valid Resident ID
    • Address Proof
    • Main Page of Passport for Self and High yield accounts

Video Call KYC
After successfully submitting your application, a BankDhofar representative will contact you to arrange a video call at your convenience to complete your Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
Upon successful completion of the video call, your account will be upgraded to enhanced limits—enabling you to enjoy all the features and benefits, just like any other account holder.

No, opening an account using Intilaqa is free of charge.

  • Non-BankDhofar customers who are 18 years or older and residing in Oman.
  • A Father (BankDhofar existing account holder) looking to open an account for his child.

While You Are Applying

The application takes 5 minutes to complete if all your documents are ready.

Try capturing and uploading a clear photo of your ID (front and back). Ensure there is no light reflection on the card that may hinder readability.

Make sure your face is clearly visible and the area is well-lit. Avoid anything that might interfere with face recognition, such as glasses, masks, or shadows. This may also be related to your ID photo—like reflections, blurriness, or poor quality—try recapturing and uploading a clearer image of your ID.

After You Submit

Your application will be processed within 24 hours on a week day, or the next working day, if applied on a weekend/public holiday.

You will receive an SMS notifying you of the rejection. You may visit your nearest branch or contact our call center at 24791111.

During the application process, you can choose one of the following methods of getting your debit card:

  • Delivered via courier
  • Pick-up from your home branch
  • Pick-up from your nearest branch
  • Print it from a BankDhofar multi-functional kiosk

Yes. BankDhofar Mobile Banking application is available for all BankDhofar account holders.

You can complete your KYC by visiting your nearest branch, or reach out to our call centre at 24791111 to schedule a video KYC.

Video Call Verification

No, video KYC is not required to open your digital account. However, there will be transactional limits applied to your account as per local regulations. Once your KYC is completed, through video call or a branch, your limits will be enhanced to regular account limits.

This service is available on all working days between 8am to 3pm. This may be carried out at a mutually convenient time agreed between yourself and a BankDhofar representative. You will receive a phone call to set up the appointment for video KYC after your account has been successfully opened.

  • Ensure you are connected to a stable network.
  • Ensure your device has Intilaqa app installed.
  • Give microphone and camera access to Intilaqa app.

  1. You may navigate to the video call by following these simple steps:
    1.    Open Intilaqa app
    2.    Click on the notifications icon on the homepage
    3.    Enter your phone number and email address, then enter the OTP
    4.    You will find a link to start your video call
