The Chairman of Bank Dhofar, Engineer Abdul Hafidh bin Salim
Al Aujaili, announced the appointment of Mr. Kris Babicci to
Chief Executive Officer of Bank Dhofar with effect from 4th
June, 2008.

Mr. Babicci, joined Bank
Dhofar in October 2007, as Chief Operating Officer. Engineer
Al Aujaili, commented,
“We are very privileged to have Kris at the helm of Bank
Dhofar. His 30 years of international banking experience is
valuable in steering the drive and direction that Bank
Dhofar is embarking on. We have all seen a great change in
the way that we do business since Kris joined us last year
and he has brought with him excellent leadership and a
renewed customer focus.We look forward to working with him
in his new capacity as Bank Dhofar continues to grow.”

Kris Babicci, said “I am
delighted to become the CEO of Bank Dhofar, this shows the

since I have been here.” He added,

community will see a lot of changes at the Bank that will
help us take our business to our customers in a way that
supports their needs”
Mr. Babicci has worked in the banking industry for over 30
years; his expertise is in the financial markets of
developing countries. Before joining Bank Dhofar in 2007 he
held senior positions at Australia and New Zealand Banking
Group and Standard Chartered Bank. |
